On Tuesday the 19th of March, our cricket and playball teams attended the Papatoetoe Zones Championships.

Congratulations to our boys cricket team, who won the Papatoetoe Cricket Zones.  After five games, our boys were undefeated including a tough final against Puhinui.  They showed awesome sportsmanship, some excellent batting, bowling and fielding, positive attitudes and great support for each other as a team. Well done boys!  Thanks also to Deborah Bland for her amazing coaching skills, and to Kylee Sauni and Shabnam Majboor for their support by bringing out jackets, warm food and drinks in the rain!

Our playball team also did very well with 1 win, 1 draw and quite a few very close scores.  All the boys represented PCS well and had a great day despite a little rain. Players of the day were Tikapa and Marona. Thank you to Glen Cowan, Andie Filipo and Kylie Sauni who were part of the coaching team.
