Dear parents and caregivers, Kia ora, Namaste, Ni Hao, Talofa lava, Kia orana

We have all appreciated the early spring sunshine this week that has enabled our property team to open up the field for student use during break times and for PE lessons. It has been just great to see the children racing around and there have been some very enthusiastic rugby and soccer games underway at both breaks.

From the Deputy Principal

Dear parents and caregivers,

This week there has been a hint of warmer weather on the way. New green growth is just beginning to appear on some of our trees. Our students have been outside regularly in the break times but have missed the use of our field, hopefully there are some dryer days ahead.

From the Principal

Dear parents and caregivers,

Sewing Option Group: We delivered the dolls’ beds made by our senior students to Middlemore hospital yesterday. These were gratefully received by one of the Kids First managers. It was a special moment. Many thanks again to Morag Wham, Paulette Thompson, Darlene Martin and Gill Frost.

Dear parents and caregivers,

3 Way Conferences: It was great to see so many of you at school last Thursday. Thank you for your support for your children and for their teachers. Each student has specific learning goals and we are all looking forward to optimum achievement for all. In the spirit of the Olympics, we want each of them to be the best that they can be.
