Dear parents and caregivers

We are enjoying a very settled start to the year. It has been lovely to welcome some new students and families to our school and to welcome back all other members of our school family. This week class programmes are all up and running and timetables specialist programmes are underway, also. Option classes during break times have begun and many students are taking advantage of the interesting optional activities provided for them. Our school is buzzing.

Dear parents and caregivers,

A very warm welcome back to the 2013 school year. We hope that you had a great time with your family over the summer break. We have noticed how refreshed and ready for school the children are. It is a pleasure to have them all back with us, ready for another year of hard work and high quality learning. Please keep in touch with your child’s teacher regularly and our senior team is available to meet with you, also. We have an “open door” policy and you are always welcome at our school.

Dear parents and caregivers,

As this is my last newsletter of the year, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best for a very happy Christmas and warmest wishes for 2013. We are all enjoying the sight of our beautiful pohutukawa tree coming into full flower on the St George St boundary – it is magnificent and suggests a long hot summer that we are already enjoying. I am sure that many of you have spotted it!
