Dear parents and caregivers, Kia ora, Namaste, Ni Hao, Talofa lava, Kia orana

I hope you are making the most of the longer evenings even though the weather is a mix of the seasons at present. It is assessment time again! Standardised tests will be taking place in reading, mathematics and spelling over the next weeks. The results of these tests will be recorded on the end of year reports our teachers are beginning to prepare already.

We had a very enjoyable junior sports afternoon on Tuesday. It was great to see our junior students involved in a number of quite challenging activities, including the sack race. I was very impressed with their ability to remain upright! Thank you to the parents, caregivers and grandparents who came along to support your children – it is always good to see you here.
