Newsletter From The Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We have had a very settled start to the term with many children involved in our optional activities programme during break times. This term the optional activities include: french knitting, school council, environmental group, library club, chess, art, Mathletics, a boys’ mentoring group, soccer, rugby and netball. In addition, we have purchased some sewing machines and we are offering a senior girl’s sewing group. The children who participate thoroughly enjoy themselves and learn a great deal. Teachers and learning assistants enjoy sharing their skills, talents and passions with your children.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We are not at all sure where this term has gone, as it has just flown by. All classes are settled and working so well and we are delighted with children’s progress. The key competency that we are focusing on this year is participating and contributing and we are noticing the increased involvement of many children around our school.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We are all enjoying the early autumn days and appreciating the warmth of the sun and the clear skies. It is great to see the children outside during the breaks, running around and maximizing the use of all of the play areas and equipment.

Newsletter From The Deputy Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Yet another week has flown by at school. We have had a hugely exciting week for both the school and children. This week has been Travel Wise week, where the school has promoted and encouraged the learning community of PCS to “beat the feet” and join us by walking to school on Friday. Thank you to Sharlene Howe for arranging the activities for the week.
