Dear parents and caregivers,

A very warm welcome back to the 2014 school year and all the very best for the year ahead. We hope that you had a great time with your family over the summer break. We have noticed how refreshed and ready for school the children are. It is a pleasure to have them all back with us, ready for another year of hard work and high quality learning. Please keep in touch with your child’s teacher regularly and our senior team is available to meet with you, also. We have an “open door” policy and you are always welcome at our school.  » Click here to read 13 February 2014

Dear parents and caregivers,

Firstly – thank you so much for supporting our teachers and your children by attending yesterday’s Christmas concerts. It was just great to see so many of you here. It was lovely also, to see you having a picnic with your children during the lunch break. It was also wonderful to welcome back some former PCS students. We all enjoyed a very special whanau day. » Click here to read 12 December 2013

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As we head towards the Christmas season, there are many things happening at Papatoetoe Central School. Our students are still working hard and they are busy preparing for the Christmas concerts next week. Unfortunately our school swimming sports were cancelled today due to our ‘summer’ weather. Thank you to the Mrs Naidu and Mr Robinson for their organisation of the event. » Click here to read 5 December 2013

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

The term is racing by and teachers are completing end of year assessments and students’ reports. I am very pleased with the progress that most students have made over the year and I am looking forward to seeing all reports for signing, shortly. All our staff have worked very hard to ensure that your children have reached their optimum achievement levels. » Click here to read 28 November 2013
